To protect your investment and ensure the most beautiful result, please prepare carefully before your appointment.
4 weeks before:
• Discontinue brow lamination or tinting
• Stop using retinol, vitamin A, or any exfoliating acids in the brow area
• Discontinue brow or lash growth serums (e.g. RevitaBrow, Latisse)
2 weeks before:
• Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds
1 week before:
• No waxing, threading, or tweezing in the brow area
24 hours before:
• Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medications (e.g. Nurofen, aspirin)
• Avoid caffeine on the morning of your appointment
Day of your appointment:
• Wash your hair that morning — it must stay dry during aftercare
• Arrive with clean, makeup-free brows
• Apply EMLA numbing cream to your brows 45 minutes before your appointment and cover with cling film (available at your local pharmacy)
• Avoid sweating for 7 daysYour brows are an open wound for the first 10 days — treat them with care and your results will thank you.
Days 1–2:
• Do not touch your brows with your fingers
• Gently blot any lymph fluid with a clean, damp cotton round
• Do not apply any cream yet
Days 3–10:
• Apply a very thin layer of the aftercare balm provided, once or twice daily
• Do not get your brows wet (no steaming, swimming, or sweating)
• Avoid saunas, steam rooms, and intense exercise
• Do not apply cleansers, moisturisers, makeup, or SPF to the brow area
• Do not pick, scratch, or peel any flaking skin — let it shed naturally
• Avoid direct sun exposure
After 10 days:
• Resume your normal skincare routine
• Apply SPF daily over the brow area to protect your investment
What to expect:
Brows will appear darker and bolder for the first week — this is normal. They will then flake and lighten as the skin heals. Your true, settled result reveals itself over 4–6 weeks and will be perfected at your touch-up appointment.
• Avoid water for 48 hours
• No makeup on brows for 10 days
• Hydrate well
• Exfoliate 24 hours before
• Antiviral medication if prone to cold sores
• Avoid spicy foods for 24 hours
• Avoid kissing for 48 hours
• Apply healing balm frequently
• No mascara
• No oils
• No lash curler for 48 hours
• No water for 24 hours
• No steam or sauna for 48 hours
• Brush lashes daily
